TB-500 is a synthetic peptide fragment of thymosin beta-4, a 43-amino acid protein that is naturally present in virtually all human and animal cells. The active region represented by TB-500 corresponds to the actin-binding domain of the full protein, which researchers believe is central to many of its biological activities.
Thymosin beta-4 was originally identified in thymus tissue, hence the name, but it turns out to be far more widespread than initially thought. Research into TB-500 has focused on its role in cell migration, wound healing, and inflammation modulation. Animal studies have explored its effects on muscle, tendon, and cardiac tissue repair models, and some interesting work has been done on its potential role in hair follicle stem cell migration.
NXPeptides TB-500 is supplied as a lyophilized powder with verified purity of 97% or above via HPLC analysis. Each shipment includes a Certificate of Analysis. We understand that researchers need reliable, consistent material, and that is exactly what we aim to deliver.
Storage is straightforward: keep the sealed vial at -20C for long-term storage. After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water or sterile water, refrigerate at 2-8C and use within a reasonable period. See our reconstitution guide for step-by-step instructions.
All NXPeptides orders include free worldwide shipping with discrete packaging and temperature-controlled delivery. Most orders arrive within 3 to 10 days. This product is for research purposes only and is not intended for human consumption.
This product is verified at ≥97% purity via reverse-phase HPLC analysis. A batch-specific Certificate of Analysis (COA) documenting exact purity percentage, mass spectrometry results, and appearance is included with your order.
Store the unopened lyophilized vial at -20°C in a dry environment. Once reconstituted, divide into single-use aliquots and store frozen at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Properly stored lyophilized powder has a shelf life of approximately 24 to 36 months.
Add bacteriostatic water or sterile water slowly along the vial wall. Do not spray directly onto the lyophilized powder. Gently swirl until completely dissolved. Do not vortex. See our full reconstitution guide for detailed instructions and solvent selection.
Orders ship within 24 hours. Domestic delivery takes 3 to 5 business days, international 5 to 10 business days. All shipments are temperature-controlled, tracked, and shipped in discrete packaging. You can track your order here.
